Personal data protection reform in EU – practical problems and challenges
Автор: Архив
The main goal of the Directive is to establish a new legal framework for the personal data protection. For this purpose the principles of the old Directive 95/64 EC for personal data protection from 1995 will be updated.
The new principles provide that the personal data protection is a basic human right. They establish unified regulations for the personal data administrators in the EU and rules for control and sanctions.
Anticipating the new regulations, Bulgaria's Commission for personal data protection adopted a new Regulation No. 1, from January 30, 2013 on the minimal technical and organisational requirements for personal data protection.
The presentation will include interesting case studies.
