Floods of words have been said and rivers of ink have been written about the turbulent changes in the Bulgarian retail in the recent years.
Have we, however, said enough for the consumers that have simultaneously undergone no less impressive revolution? In the past years they have also modernised imperceptibly.
What is more, they sometimes surpass retail in competence and exactingness as they increasingly travel, work and become acquainted with foreign models. Considering everything

the new experts
This is also the topic that Regal magazine, the specialized edition in FMCG and market research company GfK Bulgaria chose for their third joint conference Retail in Detail, that will be held in November in Sofia. We dedicate it entirely to the consumer’s universe, fully aware of how many faces he has.
We will try to analyse the differences in the purchasing power of Bulgarian shoppers.
We will trace the changes in the consumer habits in Bulgaria in the context of Central and Eastern Europe.
We will try to predict what the consumer of the future would look like.
At the same time we have designated a special panel to the topic of what he looks like here and now – at the so called point of sale. Namely at this point the dilemma between the rational and emotional sides in his behaviour is solved.
At it he makes his choice in the conditions of higher prices and with the need of better quality of products and services. In the shops recently there is heavy accent on science and technology with the mission of achieving more detailed knowledge of the consumer’s behaviour, his hidden impulses and exploiting them to the benefit of traders. On the whole, consumers are the key to your and our success.
Let’s talk about them.
